Belief in religion makes one say all kinds of crazy stuff, as I have seen on here. I think these people that say this kind of stuff are just relieved at having survived. They don't think about what that means about the ones that did not survive. If the family of the ones that died are religious, I doubt they see the negativity of the statement for their loved ones. If it we're me I would want to slap them.
